May news and those dreaded four letters...
Summer is approaching, and I'm busy preparing for several events!
Firstly, Hythe Art Society annual exhibition which is in The Tin Tabernacle, Portland Road, Hythe CT21 6FL, 9-17 June.
Then Barfrestone Art Exhibition and Sale, Barfrestone Court Barn, Barfrestone, CT15 7JJ, 6-8 July
Finally, the Hythe Festival Art Trail, 7-15 July. There will be lots of artists studios open for the trail, I'll be joining Nikki Griffith in her studio at 4 Cliff Road, Hythe, CT21 5XA.
I'm also continuing with my zodiac project and will hopefully be finishing my new studio!
Once the exhibitions are over and the studio is ready, it will be time, believe it or not, for me to start preparing for Christmas! I like to get my card and calendar designs finished in plenty of time to have them printed in early autumn.
As usual I'll be halting the commission orders in June and July. I'm also planning to have a sale of any artwork that's been hanging around for a while, I don't want my shiny new studio to be overcrowded so a clear out is in order. Watch this space for future bargains.
Now for the boring bit...GDPR. i am sure that, by now, you're drowning in emails from every company you've ever dealt with, ever (and some that you've never heard of) who want you to opt in/opt out/read their privacy statement/other. I'm not going to email you separately because I only send this newsletter to people who have actively subscribed. It's a decision I made right form the beginning because I cannot stand unsolicited mail! But you do need to know that you can unsubscribe at any time (details should be below); and you do need to know what I do with your email addresses (spoiler alert: nothing, other than use them to send you this). If you'd like to know more about how I handle your data you can read my fascinating page turner of a privacy policy here.
